This November’s presentation is one you don’t want to miss. The presentation is on Nov. 7 at 1 p.m. in the Coyote Room of the SaddleBrooke One clubhouse. The SaddleBrooke Genealogy Club starts its fall program with a presentation from Bridgette LeFevre: “Scandinavian Research: The How and Where to Search.” Get answers to your questions! Where is Scandinavia? How do I do genealogy research in this area? What are some essential things to know? Where do I look?
Bridgette LeFevre is the owner of Roots Detectives, a genealogy research business. She has a passion for a great mystery, which turned her on to genealogical work and understanding her ancestors. She has been actively researching genealogy for 16 years. She has a degree in family history from Brigham Young University Idaho. She has authored seven family history biography books. She has also had the opportunity to participate in multiple episodes of the Travel Channel’s The Dead Files. She has used DNA coupled with research to solve cases of unknown paternity and DNA methods to break through brick walls.
The Genealogy Club meets the first Thursday of the month at 1 p.m. in the Coyote Room at the SaddleBrooke One club facility. Club dues are $15. Speakers are booked with topics focusing on genealogy and research methods. After presentations, members and guests are encouraged to remain and meet directly with the more experienced members.
