Cyclemasters Tour de Tucson

Cindy Holm

This year, 23 Cyclemasters members participated with approximately 9,000 other riders in the annual El Tour de Tucson. El Tour de Tucson is a fundraising ride and the longest-running event of its kind in Arizona since 1983. Participants range from novices to professionals who ride out of a passion for cycling, as a benchmark for a wellness program, as a symbol of surviving a major illness or other life challenge, or to honor another person.

The Cyclemasters club congratulates those who participated in the November 2024 event:

102 Miles: Joel Ficke, John Boyd

63 Miles: Shannon Bews, Grant Bryden, Mike Donaldson, Marc Elvy, Pam Elvy, Paul Frederickson, Marty Herbert, Todd Hubbell, Rod Hutton, Curt Kooiker, Ray Malaski, Kurt McMillen, Randy Park, Donna Sohikian, John Sohikian, Ed Watson

32 Miles: Deena Bentley, Gordon Bentley, Cheryl McMillen, Wanda Ross, Ellie Van Michaelis

Cyclemasters is a SaddleBrooke cycling club with approximately 200 members. Members can join other SaddleBrooke cyclists for weekly social rides both inside and outside of SaddleBrooke.

Did you know? Volunteers of Cyclemasters deliver the SaddleBrooke Progress to raise money for charitable organizations.

If you are interested in cycling and meeting others with common interests, please consider joining Cyclemasters on a Saturday morning ride! This time of year, Cyclemasters meet at 9 a.m. by the bocce ball courts in SaddleBrooke One. After riding in groups for an hour-long bike ride, they gather for fellowship at the RoadRunner Grill.
