The Coyote Country Cloggers joined DJs Gus D’Oldie and Ms. Gina in honoring veterans at three senior living facilities, Brookdale, Splendido and MountainView, during Veterans Day week.
Gus and Gina entertain for many events in SaddleBrooke and the Tucson area. Gus is a veteran and takes great pleasure in planning Veterans Day programs to honor those who served and died for our country. All the veterans received certificates of recognition for their service. Some shared their military experiences, which added a personal touch to the programs.
The Coyote Country Cloggers have performed for several years as part of the program at the senior facilities. The residents and guests are always pleased with the dancers’ tribute to veterans with their foot-stomping, energetic routines to bluegrass, country western and patriotic music.
Captain Robert Stone, a 35-year Navy veteran, was the guest speaker. His career was not only in Naval intelligence, but he also served as an intelligence analyst with the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security.
