“I never did believe in miracles, but I’ve a feeling it’s time to try. I never did believe in the ways of magic, but I’m beginning to wonder why.”
So says singer/songwriter Christine McVie in a song on the 1977 album Rumours. If this thought resonates with you, consider joining a small group of like-minded women who want to step a bit outside “the conventional” to connect with the goddess within!
In ancient days, the whole world was thought to be alive and divine. There were many expressions of this; many gods and goddesses, each with their own perfect attributes and purposes. Not so much today. The culture of the goddess has waned, women undervalued and many of us have lost our connection with the divine feminine.
In this class, we will re-connect with the goddess! Each week we will meet one of the four classic goddess archetypes and through practice and reflection, we will discern our own personal goddess nature. We will also explore how the cycles of the moon and the seasons of the year are related to the goddess’ energy and we’ll discover how to use that information to nurture ourselves and improve our lives.
Join us for this five-week journey and discover the natural goddess in you!
Classes are October 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 from 10:00–11:30 a.m. in Meeting Room 2 at The Preserve. The cost is $103.
Your moon sister and teacher will be Carol Emerson, third degree martial arts black belt, ordained kriya yoga swami, priestess and SaddleBrooke resident. For more information or to register, please contact Carol at 520-373-3778. Class size is limited.
