Community Church of SaddleBrooke announces the second year of the Robert Fries Opportunity Scholarship program for eligible employees of the two SaddleBrooke Homeowner Associations.

The program is funded by a gift from the Fries Family Trust and administered by Community Church in cooperation with HOA 1 and HOA 2. Last year’s grant of $10,000 was equally divided to two employees.

Association employees with six months of satisfactory service and demonstrated financial need and who are accepted at an accredited institution of higher learning or trade school are eligible to apply.

Robert (Bob) Fries, a SaddleBrooke resident for twenty years passed away in 2013. He had a keen interest in the employees of the clubs, which he frequented regularly, and would be pleased to make a difference in the lives of these hardworking young people.
