Caregiver Support Group meets first and third Thursday

Dementias and other serious long term diseases do not just affect the person diagnosed, but can create significant emotional and physical challenges for the individuals caring for them. In response to the growing need in our community for more services and information to support caregivers facing such challenges, SaddleBrooke Health and Wellness has helped organize a local caregiver support group.

Support groups offer people the opportunity to talk with others who share similar experiences, learn new skills and find out about resources in the community. No one needs to feel as if they are facing this alone. No prior registration is required, just come when you can. Everyone is welcome to come and share, with no cost to attend and no commitment to come back.

This caregiver group meets twice a month on the first and third Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. in the Javelina Room at the HOA One clubhouse. For more information and to confirm meetings, please call Dolores Robu at 520-825-8980.
