Bob Logan, Assistant Dean for External and Corporate Relations at the University of Arizona, spoke to The SaddleBrooke Sunrise Rotary Club about his own personal life changing experience as he traveled the Camino de Santiago. The journey is 500 miles. It has been walked by Christians and others from all over the world for more than 1,500 years. There are a number of established routes leading to Santiago from different countries all over Europe. In 2012, Bob Logan began his journey in Leon, Spain, and covered approximately 250 miles of countryside leading to Santiago and finished the first half of the trip on small Pacific towns of Finisterre and Muxia. In 2015, Logan completed his Camino journey walking 300 miles from St. Jean Pied de Port to Leon Spain.

One thing Bob made sure of both Camino experiences: He was not alone, into his own personal thoughts. He left his real life to make his own personal journey. Bob and his wife Judy made this journey together. Each day Bob dedicated his walk to a single charity and/or family member or a loved one. Bob is so passionate about this journey that he created a blog to document both journeys: www.21days21wishes.com.
