Small Slams Bridge Club is proud to have Bonni Newton, American Contract Bridge League (ACBL) qualified teacher, hold a Beginner’s Bridge class Feb. 11 through April 1 (eight sessions) on Tuesday afternoons from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Coyote North Room located in the SaddleBrooke One clubhouse. No partner or experience is necessary.
The course is based on lesson plans specially designed by Bonni. Whether you have not played bridge since college or are entirely new to the game, this is the class you want to take. It will cover the basics in a non-threatening way. The cost is $40. It is possible to just take separate lessons. Register by texting Bonni Newton at 515-778-0899 or email [email protected].
Small Slams Bridge Club is an ACBL sanctioned duplicate bridge club and has a bridge game every Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m., with sign-up starting at 12:30 p.m. in the SaddleBrooke One Activity Center. It is an invitational game, limiting membership to SaddleBrooke One and SaddleBrooke TWO homeowners and renters and their guests with 0-999 masterpoints.
