As summer wound to a close, our dedicated Verde Sputters gave it their all on the main putting green of SaddleBrooke One. From time to time, a refreshing breeze and some billowy clouds helped keep everyone in good spirits. A few new players bumped our membership roster to 114, and we look forward to welcoming many new and returning players as the autumn season gets underway.
Come join us! Check-in starts at 8:30 a.m., and we putt 18 holes between 9 and 10 a.m. Annual membership dues of $60 are prorated depending on when you join. Any SaddleBrooke resident or renter who does not belong to an established golf league is welcome.

Over the span of four weeks, Sputters earned a total of 85 holes-in-one. Turning in three during a single round were Karen Simmons, Jean Matheson, Laura Berkley, Marilyn Palatas, and Lee Kump.
Our money hole winners in August were Lana Steinert, Laura Berkley, Karen Simmons, Tana Neibauer, Karen Taylor, Deb Gryniewicz, Hazel Roper, Sheelagh Simpson, Nancy Bowerstock, and Ann Grover.
