Every Saturday evening of every month will find Women On Our Own (WOOO) enjoying the cuisine of a favorite Tucson area restaurant and more importantly, the company of friends. The First Saturday “Happy Hour” is much more than enjoying our favorite drink and appetizer. It is also about revisiting a venue we love. March 7 found 14 WOOO women (and one well-behaved service dog) on the outdoor patio of Bottega Michelangelo dining on steamed mussels, lamb lollipops, salmon, and meatballs, etc. This venue never disappoints and with such a group, dining outside allowed us to visit with everyone at our table where hearing each other can be challenging in louder settings.
For those single women who are not in a committed relationship and thinking about joining WOOO, but driving outside of SaddleBrooke or night-driving is challenging, never fear. Carpooling is always available from SaddleBrooke with other WOOO women.
