On Monday, December 10 MountainView Lady Putters made merry at their annual holiday luncheon. One hundred and twenty-three ladies attended the festivities, many in holiday attire.

The Holiday Luncheon Committee comprised of Chairperson Cathy Scott, E.J. Snearly, Ellen Marano, Karen Bird and Dar Pitman produced a spectacular gala for the event. A special drink “The Jingle Bell” was made available to the membership. It consisted of vanilla vodka, peppermint schnapps and white chocolate liqueur with a swirl of Giradelli chocolate on the outside of the glass. Of course, the chairperson had to approve the cocktail because “somebody had to do it!” Good job, Cathy! A special thank you to Dar Pitman for providing her personal Santa collection as table decorations, nice touch. One of our newest members, Colleen Halverson brought her accordion and two friends (Cathy Cowley and Caryl Dowell) from a local accordion group and played Christmas carols during the program. And lastly, every member received a gift including four brand new putters to the lucky recipients.

As you can see, we Putters have a lot of fun and we are always looking for new members to share in our good times. For information about possibly becoming a member contact Sandy Strack at 825-0536.

MountainView Lady Putters wishes you and yours a joyous holiday season and happy New Year.
