Spring Bling Fling
Spring was in the air as the SaddleBrooke Line Dance Club dancers donned bright colors and sparkly stuff for an afternoon Spring Bling Fling social at the MountainView Ballroom. This party was held as a festive send off for our snowbirds who fly the coop for the summer. As a new twist, we enjoyed the tunes from Bill Trapp, the Juke Box DJ, who graciously donated his time and song spinning talents. In appreciation, the dancers contributed a donation to support Bill’s favorite nonprofit— the SaddleBrooke Theatre Guild. Terri Gage, Shirley Miller and Lynne Kumza put spring in our steps with a fun dance line up, cute table decorations and a Count the Kisses contest to guess the number of Hershey’s Kisses in a jar for a prize. The winner was Pat Wilson, who obviously knows her kisses, with the closest count to 171. Afterward the dancers adjourned to the Bistro Lounge with friends and spouses for cocktails and conviviality.
Speaking of conviviality, come and enjoy some with the SaddleBrooke Line Dance Club. Summer is a great time to line dance with extra space on the dance floor and air conditioned ballrooms. Our practice sessions are held for Level I (Wednesdays), Level II (Sundays) and Level III (Fridays). Free workshops are available for more personalized instruction at every level. Check out our website at [email protected] for times and places. The annual membership dues are only $10. See you on the dance floor!
