Patience is a virtue,
Or so they say.
I need it when the can’s
Flip top breaks midway;
The plastic bags won’t open
No matter what I do;
The robo calls
Still come through;
Drivers cut you off
And then slam on their brakes;
Then switch lanes again quickly,
Giving me headaches.
The package says, “tear here.”
I pull and tug, but it’s still sealed there.
Patience is a virtue,
Or so they say.
I’m looking for another virtue,
Starting today!
