CycleMasters Will Return to Idaho

Riding along the Coeur d’Alene River

Randy Park

SaddleBrooke Cyclemasters, a 250member club, will again travel to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and Spokane, Wash., in June. Around 30 members are signed up to enjoy five days of bike riding on paved bicycle paths, most of which will be on the desired Rails-to-Trails variety.

The trip starts with two days riding in the Salt Lake City area on June 9 and 10 on the Jordan River trail, followed by one day in Boise on the Boise River Greenway trail on June 12. Then on June 15 we will ride for five days on the Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes in Idaho and the Centennial Trail in Wash. and Idaho. Some, but not all, of the bike rides will be a repeat of a similar trip three years ago.

While in the area the group will partake in a river rafting excursion on the Spokane River, a group dinner at a local pizza restaurant, and possibly some wine tasting at a local premium winery.
