The Verde Sputters are pleased to unveil a colorful new logo that will be featured on a wide range of quality wearables for 2026 and beyond.

Membership in the SaddleBrooke Verde Sputters continues to grow! Women putters of all skill levels who enjoy fresh air, camaraderie, lots of cheering, and the chance to win money or prizes are welcome to become a Sputter any time during the year. But one of the most important events for all members is the annual meeting, which is set for Monday, Jan. 5, 2026, starting at 7:30 a.m. in the Vistas restaurant at the SaddleBrooke One clubhouse.
After checking in, members will mingle with old friends and new, learn about and sign up for a variety of volunteer activities that keep the club vibrant, and check out an attractive array of new Sputters wearables. While everyone enjoys a delicious breakfast buffet, board members will recognize our top players from 2025 and set expectations for the new year.
After the program, Sputters will head down to the main putting green for another supportive round of 18 holes, which can range from easy to more challenging.
We are pleased to announce that dues for 2026 have been reduced to $48 for playing members and $24 for social members. Those who plan to renew their membership must submit a check or cash to Membership Chair Lydia O’Connor between Dec. 1 and Jan. 5. Everyone who pays dues during this window will receive a complimentary nametag (value $6) featuring the new Verde Sputters logo.
The deadline to register for the Jan. 5 annual meeting and breakfast is 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 26. Prospective new members who would like to join Sputters in time to enjoy the benefits of the annual meeting are encouraged to:
1) Simply show up for putting on any Monday morning through Dec. 22. Check-in at the main putting green behind the SaddleBrooke One clubhouse is at 9:30 a.m., with putting starting at 10 a.m.; or
2) Email/call Membership Chair Lydia O’Connor at Lh1017ger47@gmail.com or 507-421-5640.
