Community Church at SaddleBrooke Presents The Light of the Lamb Advent 2025 on December 5

Terry Barringer

One of the most anticipated events of the Christmas season for the women of Community Church at SaddleBrooke and their friends and neighbors in SaddleBrooke, SaddleBrooke Ranch, and surrounding communities has been the Advent celebration hosted by the Women’s Ministry. This special program has become a local annual tradition for over 20 years.

We are excited to have the privilege to present some world-renowned talent from right here in Tucson. Accompanist David Craig moved to Tucson to study with the great concert pianist pedagogue Ozan Marsh at the University of Arizona. He has taught advanced music to students at Pima Community College for 10 years while performing in community theaters, including the Arts Express Theatre, and serving as a church musician for 45 years. David also specializes in directing and performing in operas and musicals.

Kyle and Jessica DeGraff have been singing together since 2008 when they met while traveling with Up with People. Jessica grew up surrounded by mariachi music, while Kyle honed his craft at the opera program at the University of Arizona. They perform regularly around Tucson at Mr. Bing’s Gospel Brunches, Christ Presbyterian Church, Oro Valley UCC, and Casas Adobes UCC. In addition, they have toured with musical presentations in Europe, Asia, and Mexico. One of Jessica’s musical honors was to be selected to sing with Adrea Bocelli in Italy.

The Women’s Ministry of Community Church at SaddleBrooke invites you to join us for this amazing Advent celebration, which will be held Friday, Dec. 5, in the SaddleBrooke TWO MountainView ballroom, 38735 S. Mountain View Blvd., SaddleBrooke, AZ 85739. Doors open at 11 a.m., and the program begins at 11:30 a.m. The cost is $35. Tickets can be purchased in person through Dec. 1 at the SaddleBrooke TWO Administration office located adjacent to the MountainView ballroom or online at saddlebrooketwo.showare.com. This is always a sold-out event, so you are encouraged to make your reservations early.

The luncheon will include a holiday salad with roasted chicken breast, dried cranberries, candied pecans, and crumbled goat cheese on a bed of spring mix served with cranberry vinaigrette, with lemon cake for dessert. Should you have any dietary restrictions, after you have made your reservations, please call Liz, Food and Beverage manager, at 520-548-1640 to give her your table number.
