I’m a Lonely Frog

Stuart Watkins

I’m a lonely frog

Living in a great big pond

I sunbathe on a lily pad

But I sunbathe all alone

When I sing my love song

In a deep, deep baritone

Lady voices don’t respond,

not one at all, at all, at all

My legs are strong and powerful

I leap from pad to pad

my strength for all to see

I’m mighty as can be

I hear a song from the shore

It is music to my ears

Lady frog wants to meet

And I gladly agree

No longer am I lonely

Living in a great big pond

We sunbathe on a lily pad

Happy as can be

Frogs, frogs, frogs, frogs.
