The SaddleBrooke Sunrise Rotary Club participated again in the annual “I Don’t Want It!” sale held on Oct. 12 in the MountainView clubhouse parking lot. Favorable weather, fantastic finds, and friendly patrons yielded a donation of $700 to the Mammoth San Manuel Education Foundation.

More than a dozen volunteers helped gather, organize, price, and sell a wide variety of items that others took home to love. Notable pieces that sold include an outdoor propane fire table, two scooters, a bicycle, artwork, a telescope, coolers, three TVs, household items, and two of the 300-plus “Quilts of Love” (per last month’s article), which will be sold or auctioned in early 2025 at the club’s quilt sale (more details coming soon). The remaining items were taken to the Golden Goose where they also will provide valuable returns for the local community.

The SaddleBrooke Sunrise Rotary Club thanks all who participated in this great sale and made its contribution possible! We are a cause-based club focused on making a tangible impact in the local community through service and support. To learn about our club and its many other initiatives, email [email protected].
