Since November 21 residents have learned over 100 calls and can now readily show off their acquired skills! It may seem intimidating but, yes, it is that easy; learning from our expert SaddleBrooke resident professional caller Larry Kraber on Tuesday evenings makes it even more fun. The ability to review at home with video and DVD as supplemental assists makes learning quicker. Healthy mental and physical stimulation is a bonus.
Please congratulate the following: Monica and Alan Grote, Max Limbocker, Joan Merrill, Father Larry Sanders, Kathy and Norm Smith, Janis Spenny, Vicki and Bob Payne and Paul Wierzbicki. Taking a refresher brush-up alongside are: Denee and Gene DeLauder, Carol and Larry Ratza, Cathy and George Scott, Kay and Bob White and Roberta and Ray Wisniewsky.
The celebration party was held at the MountainView Ballroom. Certificates and square dance name tags were awarded. Cake and dancing followed. Larry Kraber, who had just had an emergency five way bypass (he is now home and doing well), came for a short time to especially congratulate each graduate.
Nancy and Ron Hunter, SaddleBrooke residents, will be calling the dances during Larry’s recuperation. They offer workshops on Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m., and Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. are the club dances, both in the MountainView Ballroom.
