Long Realty Golder Ranch has forged a partnership with the SaddleBrooke Fine Arts Guild to promote the talented artists of SaddleBrooke. Every three months several local artists will be displaying their art in the lobby of Long Realty Golder Ranch. Fine Art Photography from three SaddleBrooke photographers is the current exhibit. Images from Susan Dinga, Tom Costner, and Jay Clary are on display now.

Susan Dinga was born in New York City but lived many years on a Spanish-speaking island in the Caribbean where she developed her first passion for photography using a Nikonos II underwater camera, capturing the underwater world. She moved to Arizona about seven years ago from California where she became involved with a camera club of great photographers who reignited her interest in photography and were very instrumental in helping her hone her skills. Susan loves the whole process of photography—the seeing, the feeling, the creating, the sharing. For her, it is meditative, whether in the field or in her studio.

Tom Costner has had a camera in his hands from the time he was eight years old. His early passion for photography fueled his 60-year professional career in photography, advertising, and marketing in Florida, Denver, and the New York/New Jersey corporate markets. After retirement to SaddleBrooke, he became active in two photography groups and the SaddleBrooke Fine Arts Group and served on the boards of both in support of their graphics and fine art direction. Tom and his wife Lynn travel often, and he captures their memories through his camera lens. Tom is also an avid collector of antique and vintage cameras, including his first Kodak Brownie, the camera creating his lifetime passion for photography and its developing technology.

Jay Clary spent his life among creative people. Being involved in media and advertising in his career, he hoped that some of that creative talent would rub off on him, and it did. Jay’s goal is to tell a visual story with his art. He has used this talent to bring other people’s memories to life through photography. He has spent a fair amount of time creating commission art for individuals and businesses. Jay’s favorite images to capture are those that evoke emotion and thought. He feels most at home behind the lens of the camera looking for the perfect elements to include in his stories.

You can view the work of these fine photographers at Long Realty Golder Ranch located in the Bashas’ Shopping Center.
