Join us on Monday, Oct. 23, in the DesertView Theatre at 7 p.m. to hear about the latest in vascular surgery from Cody Kraemer, M.D.
Dr. Kraemer is a vascular surgeon who joined Pima Heart & Vascular because of its reputation locally and nationally. Pima Heart & Vascular is immersed in research, clinical trials, and bringing the most current vascular technology and techniques to Tucson. That is exactly what Dr. Kraemer was seeking for his career.
As a vascular surgeon, he treats conditions such as peripheral artery disease, aneurysm repair, carotid artery disease, varicose veins, and deep vein thrombosis.
He graduated with honors from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed his General Surgery residency at the University of Arizona where he also earned his Vascular Surgery Fellowship.
“I’ve always had a passion for helping others. We unfortunately live in a world full of hurting people. I find joy in my job knowing that I have specialized training in helping others who are dealing with life- and limb-threatening illnesses. I love seeing and hearing from my patients when they triumph over their hardships.”
While Pima Heart has a team of cardiologists to treat hearts, a vascular doctor such as Dr. Kraemer specializes in treating the blood vessels throughout the body, including the aorta. Learn more about the differences in these specialties and the advanced techniques available today.
