At its annual Volunteer Appreciation Program SaddleBrooke Community Outreach honored three special people for their contributions to our organization.
Mary Kay Stein was selected for her past service on the board as special events chairman, for her work publishing our bi-annual newsletter, with communications in general and her current role on our long range planning committee.
Rick Cato was also selected for service on the communication team. He wore a cub reporter badge to our activities and took a volume of photographs. He also proposed our first board offsite orientation and worked on our organizational development; and he produced the monthly Dispatch that was emailed to all members.
Joan Coyne is another special person who was honored for her years on the board as corresponding secretary, as office manager of Suite L, for her diligence with the by laws and policies and for her generous support of many of our programs.
SBCO is a 100% volunteer organization. We have many very active volunteers who make our programs happen. These three were selected this year for a variety of support. It does take a village to raise our kids and the participation of all of our volunteers is important. Thank you to everyone, from SBCO and from the kids!
