You can drop off your prescription drugs at the Pinal County Sheriff’s Substation on Tuesday, Oct. 26 from 2 to 4 p.m.
No liquids, syringes, creams, or sharps will be accepted.
Please wear a mask if you are not vaccinated.
Medications must be in sealed plastic bags. No bottles are accepted; pills can be mixed/combined into one bag. You will be required to place your sealed bag in the receptacle.
The correct way to dispose of needles and syringes:
Place the needle in a puncture-proof plastic container with a screw-on lid (e.g. detergent bottle).
Label container “Do not recycle.”
Secure the lid with duct tape
Dispose of the container in a trash can. Do not recycle!
Liquid medications: Pour into a watertight container (e.g. empty butter tub). Mix in used coffee grounds, kitty litter, or soil. Secure the lid with duct tape. Dispose in a trash can. Do not recycle!
