Community Church at SaddleBrooke announces the first recipients of the Robert Fries Opportunity Scholarships. Christopher Oglesbee and Cecilia Flores each received a $5,000 award. The Scholarships for employees of the two SaddleBrooke Homeowner Associations are funded by a gift from the Fries Family Foundation and administered by the Community Church in cooperation with HOA 1 and HOA 2. Christopher and Cecelia have each been employed for over five years in the Food and Beverage Departments of HOA 1 and HOA 2 respectively.
Robert (Bob) Fries, a SaddleBrooke resident for twenty years passed away in 2013. He had a keen interest in the employees of the clubs which he frequented regularly.
