Please join the Metaphysical Study Group to hear Shenayda Diane Deane introduce us to this fascinating topic on Wednesday, January 14 at 7:00 p.m. The Kybalion claims to be the essence of the teachings of Hermes Trismegistus which is published the pseudonym of The Three Initiates. The seven Hermetic Laws or Principles are as follows:
Principle of Mentalism—the idea that All is Mind.
Principle of Correspondence—the idea that there is harmony, agreement and correspondence between the physical plane, mental plane and spiritual plane. As above, so below; as below, so above.
Principle of Vibration—embodies the idea that motion is manifest in everything in the universe, that nothing rests and everything moves, vibrates and circles.
Principle of Polarity—-the idea that everything is dual, has two poles and everything has its opposite.
Principle of Rhythm—-the idea that in everything there is a to and fro movement, a pendulum-like movement.
Principle of Cause and Effect—-explains that there is a cause for every effect and an effect for every cause.
Principle of Gender—-embodies the idea that gender is manifested in everything.
Shenayda Linda Deane has been teaching groups with this material since the 1970s. It is older than we know and contains the foundations of all philosophies. Although it does not claim to be a religion, many truths we know have the origin within this work. Come and experience this wisdom of universal laws through study and sharing this teaching.
Shenayda is a masterful guide and counselor for those seeking wholeness psychologically, physically and spiritually. Her practice spans over 35 years, guiding others to wellness through a variety of healing modalities, both contemporary and traditional. Her mastery of the healing arts has led her to become a long-standing instructor at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Reiki and other disciplines.
Today Shenayda coordinates the Center of Healing Light with her partners where she teaches various classes, counsels, performs healings and offers likeminded people a place to practice their forms of healing arts.
