Dr. Jeff Maltzman
On Monday, July 22, at 7:00 p.m., SaddleBrooke Health and Wellness will treat you to a most informative talk by Ophthalmologist, Jeff S. Maltzman, MD, who specializes in small-incision cataract surgery as well as the medical and surgical management of glaucoma. Dr. Maltzman is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American College of Surgeons and is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the American Glaucoma Society and the Chandler-Grant Glaucoma Society. He is also a member of the elite American Eye Study Club.
Dr. Maltzman is a past president of the Arizona Ophthalmological Society and serves on several committees of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Maltzman also serves as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Arizona School of Medicine and a clinical instructor at both the Midwestern University School of Medicine and A. T. Still University School of Medicine.
Dr. Maltzman received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and served his internship and ophthalmology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. He completed a glaucoma fellowship with Tufts/New England Eye Center and the Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston. He has been practicing here in Tucson since 2002 and can be seen at the office of Fishkind, Bakewell, Maltzman, Hunter and Associates, Eye Care and Surgery Center.
Dr. Maltzman is married with two children. In his free time, he enjoys time with family, landscape/nature photography and target shooting.
