Leaving footprints

Little Hooves and Big Hearts is in the business of leaving imprints on the hearts and lives of children and adults with special needs. On Saturday, May 4, 2019, LHBH left an imprint on the hearts of those guests who attended Hoofprints, a benefit introducing this not for profit 501(c)(3) organization to Tucson.
The venue for this event was the beautiful Oasis at Wild Horse Ranch. It was a perfect evening and guests enjoyed refreshments on the patio while entering their bids on the silent auction or admiring the four-footed guests of honor, Lillie and Dolly, two of the amazing miniature horses of LHBH. When dinner was served, guests were seated on the lawn to enjoy a western style evening with a barbecue dinner and country western music in the background. Following dinner, a video presentation by co-founders Tammy Mockbee and Patty Green illustrated the amazing work LHBH is doing in the lives of children with special needs. The entertainment highlight of the evening was a special performance by country western singer Lee Ann Womack.
All in all, it was a spectacular evening. Little Hooves and Big Hearts was introduced to Tucsonans who had been unaware of the organization and what it is doing in the greater Tucson area. All monies raised during this benefit will be used specifically for our equine assisted therapeutic program for children with special needs, at no cost.
Once again, this event included a LHBH/SaddleBrooke connection. Three residents who are volunteers with LHBH, Marilyn Skoneczka, Lou Robisch and Sue Robisch hosted over 30 SaddleBrooke residents at the event.
