“Did you know that your dog will mirror your emotions,” says Kathleen Dunbar, president of the SaddleBrooke Dog Park. “We always hear the old saying about how your dog looks like you or vice versa, but now we know that it’s really emotions they emulate.”
To illustrate that point, the SaddleBrooke Dog Park will present another dynamic speaker as part of its free seminars for all SaddleBrooke residents.
Scheduled for Tuesday, March 26 is Corinna Murray, DVM, CPC, ELI-MP. She is a veterinarian, Certified Professional Coach, Energy Leadership™ Master Practitioner, and founder of Veterinary Care Navigation™ and EnHABiT™: Engaging-the-Human-Animal-Bond-in-Tandem.
The seminar will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the MountainView Ballroom East. Doors open at 1:30 p.m.
The title of Dr. Murray’s talk will be “Achieving the behaviors you want in your pets: Understanding and applying the power of your emotional bond.”
Dr. Murray brings over 30 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian to these unique services focused on enhancing the quality of life for both people and their pets. Based on the concepts that emotions determine behavior in people and animals, and that our pets will mirror our emotions, she teaches people emotional management and intention setting in order to get the behaviors, bonds and solutions they are looking for, with sustainable results. She also provides counsel and coaching on reconciling difficult situations and decision making. Dr. Murray offers these services nationwide while continuing to practice veterinary medicine. Also, as a certified yoga instructor, author, speaker and volunteer for several animal welfare and therapy organizations, she combines all of her skills to empower others to achieve sustainable emotional satisfaction and to become the stress-free people they and their pets have always wanted.
