SaddleBrooke welcomes its newest physician, Dr. Mohammed Dardari.
Dr. Dardari recently joined the Northwest Allied physicians’ team located here in SaddleBrooke. His education is a perfect fit for our community. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Luke’s Hospital in St. Louis and earned his Geriatric Fellowship at Stanford University.
Dr. Dardari will address Health Night Out at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 28 in the MountainView Ballroom.
He chose internal medicine as a specialty so he could focus on a broad range of illness and selected geriatrics because of his special passion for seniors. He says he first became interested in medicine when his father gave him a microscope for his twelfth birthday. He started studying skin scrapes and drops of blood and became fascinated with the cell structure and intricate function of the human physiology.
Internal medicine was a natural choice because he wanted to work with adult patients and their overall health. He was very close to his grandparents, so chose geriatrics as his second specialty.
His areas of focus are preventive medicine, hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, thyroid and osteoporosis. He also stresses screening for early signs of dementia and manages patients who have complex pharmaceutical regimens.
Dr. Dardari is known for his attention to detail and for listening carefully to his patients. He discusses ways his patients can manage their health to stay independent longer.
SaddleBrooke Health and Wellness is pleased to host Dr. Dardari Monday, January 28 at 7:00 p.m. in the MountainView Ballroom.
