Harriet Shemer
The Catalina Timewalkers, a SaddleBrooke chapter of the national organization of Questers, January meeting featured a presentation about Theo Faberge and his St. Petersburg Collection of eggs. Theo Faberge was the grandson of Carl Faberge the creator of the Russian Imperial Eggs. He continued the tradition of creating decorative eggs that were sold to commemorate special occasions and people. Of special interest was the White House egg that was presented to Hillary Clinton when her husband was president. The eggs were hand produced and each egg was a limited edition. The presentation was held at the home of Harriet and Stu Shemer. Harriet displayed and talked about each of the eggs in her collection of reproductive Faberge eggs.
