Aside from the weekly Tuesday and Friday Bridge games open to players of all abilities, the Tucson Unit offers special games, too. The Member Appreciation two-session game held at the Hotel Tucson on December 11 brought out about 160 players for competitive bridge, continental breakfast and lunch. SaddleBrooke players who won points in the morning included Sharon Wyles/Ann Kuperberg, Karen Swanberg/Loretta Wood (both winning in the afternoon too), Barb Feeley/Ann Hinge (also winning both sessions), Jane Pendley/Michelle Werley, Ellen Dilbert/Christopher Apitz, Alicia Anderson/Marian Rogge (also both sessions), Al Spaet/Al Peters, Peter Godfrey/Steve Sahl, Pat and Mike Kotten, Barbara Starrett/JoAnn Ellison. Additional afternoon winners were Diana McGinn/Vito Konur, Joan Merrill/Adair Karlin, Larry Reich/Joyce Hagin
