BBQ and Zin – July 15

It may have been several years since the last one, but some things are very hard to forget. Chef Dave is again working his culinary magic pairing BBQ with the perfect Zinfandels. As before, this dining experience is a stationed event and if you previously missed it, plan on joining us for an evening you will long remember.

The menu for this evening will be:

Frenched chicken thighs with pineapple-soy sauce served on a bed of Asian slaw.

Joel Gott – A Zinfandel with aromas of roasted plum and blackberry jam with hints of sweet spices

Mac and cheese (five cheeses) station with two different choices – wild mushroom and gruyere as well as bacon, shrimp and leek

Napa Cellars – A Zinfandel with bright aromas of fresh brambly fruit, tart cherry, red currant and black tea

Honey-ginger glazed grilled corn on the cob and grilled vegetable kabobs with honey molasses glaze
