You’re Invited to Three Fun Social Dances!

SaddleBrooke Ballroom Dance Club’s (SBDC) new Novice Dance Parties have been a big hit. There’s no need to know a bunch of patterns, a bunch of dances, or any dances at all. Experienced dancers are there to help guide our novices every step of the way. We limit the dances to six of the most common steps that are simple to learn. Participants are always quick to get out on the floor with their partners. Our next Novice Dance Party will be Oct. 21 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in the Vermillion Room in SaddleBrooke One. And save the date for the Nov. 18 Novice Practice Dance. To sign up, just email Ann Pizzitola at [email protected]. And, by the way, it’s free! We will continue to offer a Novice Practice Party each month. Please check the club’s website www.sbballroomdance.com for a listing of upcoming dances.

Also, to help novice dancers get a start on the dance floor, SBDC has novice classes twice a month. We will be introducing new patterns to you for the six dances you will be dancing at the Novice Dance Party. For those who have never danced before, we’ll teach you the basic pattern of the dance. For those who have been through the introductory class already and are ready for more, we’ll review the basic pattern for each dance and add an additional pattern. The classes will be held Oct. 4 and 18. Both classes are at 4 p.m. in the Vermillion Room in SaddleBrooke One. Looking ahead, save the date for the Nov. 1 and 15 novice classes.

All residents of SaddleBrooke are invited to our Dinner Dances. SBDC is known for our fun social dances. We have scheduled two Dinner Dances in the glorious MountainView Ballroom, the first on Oct. 21 and the second on Nov. 3. MountainView Ballroom has one of the best dance floors around! For each dance, cocktails will begin at 5 p.m., with dinner at 5:30 p.m. and dancing at 6 p.m. We begin accepting reservations about a month ahead of the Dinner Dance date. The dances are open to all residents of SaddleBrooke. SBDC members and visitors who have registered for previous events will receive reservation information by email. If you are not a SBDC member or previous registrant, please go to www.sbballroomdance.com and log in as a visitor. Once logged in, you can register for the Dinner Dance of your choice. The form will be available by clicking on “Form” for the specific Dinner Dance. Instructions for meal selection, pricing, and where to send the form will all be on the form. So just print it, fill it in, and send it.

Check out our website www.sbballroomdance.com for our dances and class schedules and our many events that promote social ballroom dancing. SaddleBrooke Ballroom Dance Club is where the learning continues, and the fun never ends.
