Do you enjoy collecting coins or want to learn more about the hobby? The SaddleBrooke Coin Club welcomes residents to join us for our next meeting!

Date: Second Thursday of each month

Time: 6 to 8 p.m. MST

Location: Catalina Room, 38691 Mountain View Blvd.

Our meetings are a great place to:

• Learn how to start or build your collection;

• Get tips on coin identification and values;

• Buy, sell, or trade with fellow collectors; and

• Enjoy educational presentations and Show and Tell.

Whether you’re an experienced collector or just starting out, you’ll find a friendly and welcoming group of numismatic enthusiasts eager to share knowledge and stories. The Nov. 13 topic was on Peace dollars, which were minted 1921-1935 as victory coins after the Great War. The Dec. 11 SaddleBrooke Coin Club talk will be on the rare, silver Gobrecht dollars, which were only minted from 1836 to 1839.

Guests and members are always welcome! Bring a coin or two to show the group, or just come see what others bring.

If you have any questions, contact Terry Caldwell, SB Coin Club president, at 719-246-1822 or email tjcaldw@gmail.com.
