Concerns about our physical safety, financial safety, and protection from crime are often at the top of mind as we age. Most seniors report that they want to live independently but have also done little to equip their homes or adjust their lifestyles to accommodate comfortable aging. Four of SaddleBrooke’s most recognizable organizations have united to deliver a series of Safety Seminars in 2023.
The SaddleBrooke Public Affairs Commission, Senior Village at SaddleBrooke, and the Patrols of both SaddleBrooke One and SaddleBrooke TWO are collaborating with plans to offer communitywide presentations on issues we believe are important to residents of SaddleBrooke. On our list of topics are Senior Fraud, Home Safety, and practical advice for avoiding injury on the road, whether walking, on a bicycle, in a golf cart, or driving a vehicle.
We want to hear from you to refine our ideas and reflect what is important to the residents of SaddleBrooke. If you would like to propose a topic or if you are knowledgeable on a subject that you would like to present to the community as a speaker or panelist, please let us know by emailing [email protected] and write “Seminars” in the subject line.
