SaddleBrooke and Highlands Men’s Putters

The SaddleBrooke Men’s Putters faced off against the Highlands at Dove Mountain Men’s Putters for another of our quarterly Saguaro Cup tournaments. This quarter, the tournament was held at the Highlands Golf Course at Dove Mountain. The putting green was fast and seemed to have some hidden undulations that made it difficult for our team to reach the cups. Being it was the home course for the Highlands’ men, they had a distinct advantage and whomped the SaddleBrooke Men’s Putters, thus reclaiming the Saguaro Cup from SaddleBrooke. It seems that possession of the Saguaro Cup is determined by whose course the tournament is held on. When the Highland Men’s Putters come to SaddleBrooke, we almost always take the cup, and when we go there, they take it back. Yes, there is a home course advantage.
