What can you get for $10 these days? Not much. Unless you’re talking about the SaddleBrooke Line Dance Club. For just $10 a year, the SaddleBrooke Line Dance Club is the best deal in town!
Are you brand new to line dancing and want to give it a try? No problem. The club usually gives two sets of Novice Classes, one in the fall and one in the spring. Classes are open to residents who are not yet members of the club. The lessons are always free. All we ask is that you join the club.
Once a club member, we have several levels of programs/workshops to choose from. There are Novice, L1, L2, L3 workshops and programs. We dance six days a week! See the website for a list of all the times and locations on the calendar page at sbldc.weebly.com.
Besides all the fun we have dancing, we do other activities that include:
Themed Dance Parties – Dance parties where we dance, eat and socialize. Some themes have been a Sock Hop, Halloween Party, Fiesta and a Pajama Party (yes, the dancers did all show up in pajamas!).
Chit Chat & Chow – Every month that we do not have a party, club members go to lunch at different local restaurants.
For those who are not afraid to show off their talents, club members have given performances inside and outside of SaddleBrooke. We have performed for Unit parties, ladies golf events and performed twice at the HOA 1 Fourth of July celebration. We especially enjoy going out into the community and bringing smiles to faces of assisted-living residents. Our performances have taken us to Amber Lights, Desert Springs and Splendido.
