As a people, we are divided philosophically and politically in this country, as well as around the globe. We feel the deep upheaval on a visceral level. With the ever-increasing confusion and stress that we witness on the world stage, wouldn’t it be nice to understand what is happening? All we know is that rapid, unexpected change is our new normal, and positive change is afoot.
Astrology is a symbolic language and shows significant correlations between time periods. In other words, what happened years ago comes up again for review and ultimately a change. The old adage “history repeats itself” is not necessarily accurate, but certainly Mark Twain nailed it when he said, “History does not repeat itself, but it often rhymes.”
Massive transformation is occurring across the globe. Governments and institutions are flailing, and society seems to be unraveling. So, how does the past impact what we are going through now, and how does it shine a light on the path forward? We’ll look at the historical correlations between the 1770s, 1850s, 1960s, and today. We will examine the world’s current events through the lens of history and unpack the potential of what is ahead.
In short, she will share the astrological signatures for 2023 and bring an objective “30,000-foot view” of what is happening on the global stage and how it impacts each one of us. About Sara Bourland: Sara is a practicing astrologer, educator, designer, and artist. She holds a Master of Science in Education and a Bachelor’s in Interior Architecture Design. She is a member of the Organization for Professional Astrology (OPA) and the Tucson Astrologers’ Guild (TAG).
