Spring is here, the desert is in bloom and we’re still dancing. Come join us.
On Friday, April 12, more than 40 dancers enjoyed our last Ballroom Dance Dinner Party of the winter/spring dance season. We enjoyed a delicious dinner of pear walnut salad with a choice of chicken marsala, striped sea bass or filet mignon and ended the meal with double chocolate cake with raspberry sauce. Our DJ Bob Osborne provided plenty of fun dance music so we danced the night away with the theme of Under the Desert Stars.
Snowbirds may be starting to leave but we’ll still be dancing. The SaddleBrooke Ballroom Dance Club holds monthly Dine and Dance Parties on the first Thursday of each month at the Vistas Dining Room in SaddleBrooke One with dancing in the attached Vermilion Room. The next Dine and Dance Party is on Thursday, May 2, with Rick and Kaye Baumgartner as our DJs. This is Burger Night so reservations are required to get a seat near the dance floor. Dinner reservations start at 5:00 p.m. and we usually start dancing about 6:00 p.m. To reserve a seat, contact Rick Baumgartner at [email protected].
Save the dates now for our Dine and Dance Parties that continue during the summer. The upcoming dates are June 6 and August 1.
