Twice a month if you happen to walk by Room 3 of the SaddleBrooke One Craft Center, you might see a number of members of the SaddleBrooke Paper Crafters (SBPC) in a Fun Shop or Card in a Box group. For either one, you will likely see smiles and laughter—SBPC members having fun!

Fun Shops are offered once a month to a limited number of members who sign up in advance. These are learning opportunities for our members where a fellow member offers to teach a new technique, practice a new layout with the group, or introduce new material. Members generally leave with three complete projects.

A Card in a Box group is also offered once a month on an alternate Saturday. This forum offers all our members an opportunity to share ideas and make cards with no advance sign-up. Members who attend prepare in advance all the materials needed to make four cards. At the Card in a Box, members are seated four at a table, and they assemble the already prepared card packets provided by each member at the table. By the end of the meeting, everyone walks away with four different completed cards. Card in a Box offers each person an opportunity to make some cards, chat, and share knowledge and, of course, some laughs!

If you are interested in becoming a member of the SaddleBrooke Paper Crafters (or just curious if it is a fit for you), please visit one of our meetings held on the second Wednesday of the month in Room 4 of the SaddleBrooke One Craft Center from 1 to 3 p.m.
