Volunteer appreciation

Nan Nasser

Come and celebrate another wonderful year with SaddleBrooke Community Outreach, acknowledging programs like Kids’ Closet, Teen Closet, educational opportunities and support of local food programs.

On Monday, April 13 SBCO will celebrate its annual volunteer appreciation meeting, acknowledging individuals and corporations who have given special time and talents to our kids in communities from Catalina to the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation.

The location is the former Mesquite Grill, the time is 3:00 p.m., the date is April 13. A cash bar will be available and appetizers will be served to everyone. The new slate of officers will be announced and it will be a time for social interaction and opportunities to share experiences.

Did you know we support programs in a 100 mile corridor that extends from Catalina to the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation? This includes Kids’ Closet, Teen Closet, educational programs offering tutoring, scholarships and support of enrichment programs and ongoing financial support of the Tri Community Food Bank that provides food to people in Oracle, San Manuel, Mammoth and a few communities north of Mammoth. We are 100% volunteer and have been designated a 501C3 organization for its support of the working poor. Everyone is invited to attend, learn more about SBCO and socialize with many of our volunteers.
