Voices for Giving

The Sonoran Singers

The Sonoran Singers

Dee Zellinger

The Sonoran Singers choral group of SaddleBrooke with their voices and performances give happiness and joy to many people. “That’s what we are about,” says Director Janie Grinstead. “We lift the spirits of those for whom we perform.”

This volunteer group of about 35 female voices has been doing their giving for over ten years. They perform their concerts in the greater Tucson area at various venues but primarily at locations that serve the elderly.

As new and familiar old songs are performed by the Sonoran Singers, many in the audiences tap, clap and sing along and smiles and eye sparkles can be seen.

The group practices weekly in the Sonoran Room at MountainView Country Club and performs about 12 times per year during the fall, winter and spring.

The Sonoran Singers are looking for vivacious, energetic and cheerful female singers. You could be one of the giving voices. If interested please contact Janie at [email protected].
