Due to the hard work of Jacque Twitty and her committee members and the generosity of our sponsor, Robson Communities, the MPWGA Member/Guest Tournament was a huge success. It kicked off on Sunday afternoon, April 24 with an ice cream social, horse race and appetizer party with DJ Steve Phillips providing music for dancing on the patio. Golf on Monday and Tuesday (April 25 and 26) consisted of four different nine-hole formats which resulted in 34 winning teams out of the 40 teams competing. Monday’s golf was played at The Preserve with a luncheon following and Tuesday’s golf was played at MountainView with lunch and entertainment by our own Elvis (Jim Westover of Casa Grande) who put on a two hour concert. What a great time we had!
