Unit Nine Celebrates Taco in a Bag Night

Unit Nine held its annual Taco in a Bag Night at Sheri Wyland’s home, with 45 members attending the event. What is Taco in a Bag? You take a small Fritos snack bag, smash the Fritos into small pieces, then cut across the top of the bag. Now add to the bag seasoned ground beef, shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, and salsa and top with sour cream. Now enjoy your Taco in a Bag! It was a fun evening for everyone.
Unit 17 residents had a great time, even though the Party on the Patio was moved indoors due to the monsoons.

A Happy Hour Party on the Patio was scheduled for Unit 17. However, The Preserve moved the party indoors when the monsoons looked threatening. So, residents of the unit celebrated our friendships and the monsoons that brought us indoors. It was a great time to meet new friends and neighbors and catch up with old friends and neighbors.
Next on the agenda is a ‘70s party. So, think how you dressed back then. What do you still have in your closet that will work for the party? Many thanks to our hostess and host, Linda Gray and John Hart, for scheduling this party!
Unit 21 Ladies Luncheon Pool Party

On a sweltering July day, the ladies of Unit 21 gathered poolside for the monthly luncheon. It may have been over 100 degrees, but the beverages and pool were refreshing and plentiful. Silke Bender, the “hostess with the mostess,” had an amazing array of salads, appetizers, and desserts for all to enjoy. This is the luncheon of the year and, as always, it did not disappoint the 25 ladies who attended. A big hats off to all who helped and took part in this joyous day. See you again next year!
Unit 46 Divas Luncheon

Twelve ladies from Unit 46 enjoyed lunch at La Hacienda Restaurant in Oro Valley on Aug. 21. They enjoyed great conversation and took the opportunity to celebrate Cathie Siglow’s recent birthday.
