Scott Sheftel, MD, FAAD
Join us for our next Health Night Out (HNO) on Monday, Feb. 9, at the DesertView Performing Arts Center for the presentation “Tips for Protecting Your Skin in the Desert” and free skin cancer screenings. Doors open at 6:45 p.m., and the presentation begins at 7 p.m.
Most of us who relocate to SaddleBrooke from other states are surprised by changes to our skin that occur in just a short time after moving here. And it is not just a summer concern.
The good news is that there are more techniques to treat skin cancer today, and the most effective method is early detection.
Our February speaker at Health Night Out, Dr. Scott Sheftel, founder of HealthySkin Dermatology, will focus on repair, maintenance, and protection of our skin in the desert.
After his presentation, Dr. Sheftel will conduct free skin cancer screenings in private booths. A sign-up sheet will be available when you arrive for the presentation. Please wear comfortable clothing if you would like a screening.
