The World of Sisterhood is the theme of the P.E.O. Luncheon and Style Show to be held in the MountainView Ballroom on Friday, February 24. Celebrating P.E.O.’s commitment to friendship and education for women, Chapter EP invites you to stop by the HOA 2 Administrative Offices located in the MountainView complex to purchase tickets at $30 per person.

Colorful, comfortable spring and resort fashions from La Encantada’s Soft Surroundings will be modeled by chapter members. The luncheon consists of cobb salad, rolls, assorted beverages and cookies. Doors will open February 24 at 11:00 a.m. and food will be served at 11:30 a.m. Musical selections will be presented by pianist Carolyn Cochran.

Proceeds from ticket sales will be used by the Philanthropic Educational Organization to help provide scholarships for female high school graduates and international students studying for advanced degrees in the United States. P.E.O. also offers loans and grants to women in baccalaureate and postgraduate programs. In addition, the P.E.O. Sisterhood supports Cottey College, a liberal arts college for women located in Nevada, Missouri.

EP members Louise Fraser and Carol Odell are chairing the event. For further information, call 825-9592 or 818-0885.
