There’s rain damage from the last Monsoon
Well fix it, dear husband, fix it
Insurance won’t cover it, I found out at noon
Rain will come again so open your wallet
Four bids received; all about the same
Who can take care of it before the rains return
One company only does the whole roof, what a shame
Another is too busy to and won’t call us again
Insurance would cover if the tiles were ripped off
Ceiling damage from water is not on us
Seems strange that wind damage was not enough
At least the ceiling will cause us no fuss
So, homeowners be quite aware
If your home is twenty years or older
And by my testimony I can swear
Roof leaks insurance will not cover
