Have you ever jumped to the closing chapter of a book to see how it ends? The same temptation to skip the Old Testament to get to the New robs us of the depth and richness of the story and of our faith. Since many theological truths we hold so dear hinge on the first five books of the Bible, called the Pentateuch, the women of Community Church will be studying them to better grasp God’s unifying thread of redemption.
If you would like to see how this beautiful tapestry of Scripture unfolds, join us in January as we learn together. You have two options for this 11-week study: Mondays starting January 11 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Community Church Parish House located at 36768 Aaron Lane, Tucson, or Tuesdays starting January 12 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the HOA One Activity Center, 64518 E. Galveston, Tucson.
Everyone is invited and we hope you will attend. Susie Gannett, our Pastor’s wife, will be teaching these sessions. As those who have studied with her know, Susie is a dynamic knowledgeable teacher who presents the gospel in an engaging interesting style. This is an opportunity to refresh your faith and meet new friends as we probe God’s Word together. No matter what your past history has been in Bible study, these sessions will help you know God better.
To register for either of these studies, please send your check in the amount of $15 made payable to CCSB, to Carol Kiker, 37690 S. Skyline Drive, Tucson 85739. Include your name, telephone number and e-mail addresses with your check. Please remember to note which study – Monday or Tuesday – you want to attend. Should you have any questions, you may call Carol at 520-825-2003.
CCSB is an all-denominational group of believers meeting at the DesertView Theatre in SaddleBrooke every Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. All are welcome.
