Here are some preliminary details!
Current size of Goose building is 14,080 square feet.
This expansion provides an additional 4,096 square feet of which approximately 1,000 square feet will be used for an expanded sales floor with new dressing rooms.
This expansion includes two canopies over the two receiving areas on the north end of the building to provide shade and protection from the rain.
Construction start date has not been set but should be in the May – June timeframe.
Duration for construction is seven calendar months, which means we should be complete by roughly the end of the year.
We will be revising the donation drop-off location.
We are cutting a hole in the west wall of the break room and installing a temporary double-door where all donations will be accepted during the remodel. We are eliminating the parking spaces adjacent to the door for the remodel period. We want cars to drive north and drop off anything they want to donate adjacent to the doors. The Goose truck will also be unloading using these same doors. We plan to build a ramp where we can use a hand cart or dolly to wheel donations into the building. The contractor will be putting up fencing around the back parking lot so cars won’t be able to drive through where they normally do.
Stay tuned!
