MountainView-Preserve announces the renewal of the Gender Cup; a match play event which has the Lassies (women) versus the Laddies (men). This will be the tenth event with the results tied at 4-4-1. Gender Cup, or the Divorce Open, will be held on March 9 at the MountainView Golf Club with a 1:00 p.m. Shotgun.
The format is Individual Match Play with the Lassies vs the Laddies. However, spouses or significant others are not required to play against each other; so, entrants may put together their own matches and foursomes. There are 18 total points per match with the best net ball winning each hole and 1 point; for tied holes, half a point is awarded to each golfer.
Signups began February 9 on ForeTees for this fun event. A dinner is planned to follow this event. Be on the lookout for additional information!
